International Youth Exchange "Grow" in Armavir (Armenia)

August 15, 2021 at 6:00 pm

From 2nd-11th August 2021 we started our adventure in Armenia. 30 participants from Germany, Armenia, Georgia, Czech Republic and Estonia came together in the small town of Armavir to deal intensively with the topic of sustainability. Which environmental problems do their home countries have to deal with? What are their strategies for more sustainability? How can life be made more ecological in our private surroundings?

Besides invited guest trainers, the participants also got to lead workshops themselves on their topics of expertise. One highlight was the visit of the mayor of Armavir to ask him about the local environmental situation. Another highlight was planting trees in the town’s park. And the intercultural aspect wasn’t missing either. Each country team got to plan the evening programme for one night, including national foods, dances, music and games. There also were excursions to a local pottery and the scenig Geghard monastery as well as a visit to the buzzing capital Yerevan.

Our Projects

This is what EuroYouth is all about - we live for our projects ;)
By being a hosting and sending organisation for international youth exchanges, we have been able to send a large number of young adults abroad to connect with their peers from different cultures.
